A’s 4 — Bombers 1

Box Score

Game one saw a rematch from yesterday between the Canada A’s and the British Columbia Bombers. And just like yesterday, the A’s took care of business against the Bombers. A four-run third inning would prove to be all the A’s needed, as they won, 4-1.

Haymakers 4 — Rush 3

Box Score

Back on the turf field, the Midwest Haymakers jumped out to a three-run lead early, while Cory Jordan went four innings strong to put himself in line for the win. Derek Ward got the Rush within one run on a solo home run in the fifth inning, but the Haymakers were able to hold on, getting their first win of the season, 4-3.

Power 3 — Grizzly 1

Box Score

The final game of the day also took place on the auxiliary field between the Palm Springs Power and the Alberta Grizzly. The Grizzly took an early one-run lead in the first inning, but the Power came back with two runs in the fifth and added one in the seventh, and behind strong pitching from Michael Fabrizio and Kyle Pisano, the Power won, 3-1.
